Mission

I want to use design to bridge the gap between human and technology.

We live in an era where we cannot live without the gift of technology, yet so many people still struggle with legacy & modern technologies that are seemingly difficult to use. Look beyond just the hyphy tech bubble that many of us see, and you’ll see so many areas untapped by design: enterprise, gaming, sports, hospitals, and education - just to name a few.

The advance in technology opens a door of endless opportunity. I want to use creativity, design & system pipelines to access thru the barriers in technology, and over time, create an understanding that warrants the craftsmanship in both function, form and imagination.

Xion

This is Xion aka "Xionious, the White" aka "Z". My trusty white wolf-dog and husky companion. We are a package and many of our adventures are done through travelling together. He is sweet, affectionate, and vocal. Raw meat is his love language and consists of his every day feeding.

Swiss Army Knife of Design

I'm not your "typical" designer - Yes, I can draw, but I rarely even use it for ideation. Instead, I'd rather prototype using Blender or UE and make pitch decks using Sketch or Miro. I obsess about mixing function and style, but I believe thinking about the big picture - how to use design to bring value to users - is most important.

NERD.
PROUD & LOUD.

When I am not on a design kick, directing, travelling, or making music - it's likely you can find me on my PC, playing games. Between the tech itself and the games I play, I am full-nerd, loud & proud. I mostly play RPGs, survival horrors. Fallout and Final Fantasy being two of my favorite sagas.
 
These games are usually a huge point of inspiration for me from interactive story-telling, character design, world-building attributes, fashion styles, architecture and system pipelines. 

OBSCURE TASTE IN?
WELL, EVERYTHING.

Another love of mine goes into the films. From directing to color grading to theatrics, film completely encapsulates my creative and design philosophies.

Here is a list of just a few of my top films, even though it's truly endless:
Some of the ones are known for their cinematography while others are more about the story-telling and poetic elements. I still have so many I seek to watch but soon my list will be fulfilled.

Below the list of films, are some of my favorite albums or movie scores as well as some of my biggest creative inspirations, that are not my friends.

AVID TRAVELLER.

There are still so many places I want to visit. I've only been to a quarter of my bucket list. I don't know when I'll be able to get to all, but I want to try to visit at least one country each year. Listed below are the places I've spent time.
 
Here are some of my top places to visit in my bucket list:
Some of the ones are known for their nature and landscape, like New Zealand and Iceland. Others are for culture and architecture, like Sweden and Russia. If I had to pick my hands-down top places to go, it'd be Japan, Iceland, and Bali. I plan to make it to them this decade!
